Submission Guidelines:
Are you a professional writer who is interested in being on stage at THIN AIR?
Have your publisher forward a copy of recently published (or forthcoming) work, along with a brief publication history, to Tavia Palmer, Administrative Coordinator. Promotional materials are welcome as well.
Submissions are welcome any time, with most of the selection process taking place from January through April. Decisions for the September festival are finalized in late spring, and generally we only inform the writers we are booking into the festival.
Please be aware that newly-released, professionally-published work takes priority in the selection process, and the competition is very stiff. We have limited presentation slots, and are committed to representing a broad range of genres, styles and places of origin.
