SATURDAY SEMINAR: Words on Screen

BookShorts Executive Director Judith Keenan and celebrated writers Paul Quarrington and Susin Nielsen represent a wealth of experience writing, adapting, and editing for film and television. Short or long, the best adaptations go beyond merely lifting a segment of dialogue and acting out a scene. Susin Nielsen and Paul Quarrington share tips and techniques in the creative process. Judith Keenan shows how to translate that experience into viable production processes. Come prepared to share your ideas and participate in this interactive workshop! We’ll premiere “Pavane,” the BookShort adaptation from Quarrington’s new novel The Ravine.
