Each weekday evening, writers step into the spotlight at the Shaw Performing Arts Centre at The Forks to share great new work. McNally Robinson Booksellers has an on-stage bookstore featuring THIN AIR writers. We have an on-stage bar as well! Tickets are $12 ($10 for students/seniors), available at the door. Or invest $40 in A THIN AIR Festival Pass and get access to all THIN AIR 2012 ticketed events. Knock off another $5 if you have a THIN AIR Club Card. Oodena, the natural amphitheatre at The Forks, has been a gathering place for centuries. THIN AIR celebrates that history with a collage of commissioned work from writers who have made a mark on the local scene. Gather on the stairs for a magical evening of words in many flavours. Bring a jacket—the air is cool as the sun sets.
