Amy Jo Ehman

Amy Jo Ehman is a writer, speaker and forager with a taste for prairie foods. She is a food columnist for the Saskatoon Star Phoenix, Prairie North Magazine and CBC Radio, and has written for Harrowsmith Country Living. In 2005, she challenged herself to a “year of eating locally,” and the adventures and misadventures in her lively blog became Prairie Feast: a writer’s journey home for dinner, published this spring by Coteau Books. Ehman grew up in Craik, Saskatchewan surrounded by big gardens and vast fields of wheat. She left the farm to study journalism at the University of Regina, and lives now in Saskatoon.
