Andrew Kaufman

Andrew Kaufman has written a short story collection, Selected Business Correspondence, and several novels, including The Waterproof Bible and The Tiny Wife. He has just published a new novel, Born Weird (Random House), in which five siblings in the Weird family have to gather to break their grandmother’s curse. Coach House is releasing a tenth-anniversary edition of his cult favourite, All My Friends Are Superheroes (Coach House), a novel which has been translated into half a dozen languages. Like Alice Munro, Kaufman grew up in Wingham—he calls himself the second-best writer to come from that small Ontario town. He lives now in Toronto.
