Catherine Hunter
Catherine Hunter is a poet and novelist who teaches Creative Writing at the University of Winnipeg. For ten years she was the poetry editor of The Muses’ Company press. She has published several collections of poetry with Signature Editions, including Latent Heat, which won the McNally Robinson Manitoba Book of the Year Award. She has also made a name for herself as a crime fiction writer, with Queen of Diamonds and Where Shadows Burn, a novel that is being re-released by Turnstone. Winnipeg is Hunter’s home town, and the inspiration for much of her work.
