Charles Leblanc

Né à Montréal en 1950, Manitobain depuis 1978. Titulaire d’un baccalauréat en sciences sociales, d’un baccalauréat spécialisé en économie et d’un certificat en traduction, a touché à de nombreux métiers : professeur et chercheur en économie, barman, copropriétaire de bar, comédien de théâtre professionnel, organisateur d’événements culturels, ouvrier industriel et traducteur. Chroniqueur littéraire occasionnel à l’hebdomadaire local La Liberté. Participation à plusieurs pièces de théâtre à Montréal et à Winnipeg, à titre de comédien et de dramaturge. Auteur de sept recueils de poésie et co-auteur d’un récit, tous publiés aux Éditions du Blé. Dernier titre : des briques pour un vitrail (anthologie) (2008).

Born in Montreal in 1950, Charles Leblanc moved to St. Boniface in 1078. Holder of baccalaureate degrees in both social sciences and economics, as well as a Translation Certificate, he has had several jobs: teacher and researcher in economics, barman, server, co-owner of a bar, professional theatre actor, cultural events organizer, industrial worker and translator. He has participated as an actor and playwright in numerous plays in Montreal and Winnipeg. An occasional literary columnist for Winnipeg's La Liberté, Leblanc has written seven poetry books and co-authored one narrative, all published by Éditions du Blé. his most recent book is the anthology, des briques pour un vitrail.
