Clark Blaise

Clark Blaise is the internationally-acclaimed author of twenty books, including Lunar Attractions, winner of the Books in Canada First Novel Award: his memoir I Had a Father; and The Sorrow and the Terror: The Haunting Legacy of the Air India Tragedy, co-written with is wife Bharati Mukherjee. His new short story collection is The Meagre Tarmac (biblioasis). In 1968, he founded the postgraduate Creative Writer Program at Concordia University, and then served as Director of the International Writing Program at Iowa. Blaise was born in Fargo ND, has taught all over North America, and now divides his time between New York and San Francisco.
