Colleen Sydor

Colleen Sydor first established herself with delightful books for young readers. Both Camilla Chameleon and Raising a Little Stink won the McNally Robinson Book for Young People Awards, and Camilla was also named a Great Book of the Year by the Canadian Toy Testing Council. She has a proven track record as a young adult writer as well. My Mother Is a French Fry and Further Proof of My Fuzzed-Up Life, which won the 2009 McNally Robinson Book for Young People, has just been followed by The McGillicuddy Book of Personal Records (Red Deer Press). Sydor was born in Winnipeg, and continues to make this city her home.
