Drew Hayden Taylor

Originally from the Curve Lake First Nations in central Ontario, Drew Hayden Taylor has spent the last two decades traveling the world and writing about it from the Aboriginal perspective. He is an award-winning playwright, author, columnist, film maker and lecturer. Among his recent projects are two anthologies from Douglas & McIntyre: Me Funny is a collection of aboriginal humor, and Me Sexy is a collection of meditations on aboriginal sexuality. His most recent title for young adult readers, The Night Wanderer (Annick), dubbed “a native gothic novel,” was short-listed for the 2008 Arthur Ellis Award. Drew Hayden Taylor lives in Curve Lake.
