Jane Munro

Jane Munro’s poetry has received critical acclaim and been widely reviewed. It was twice short-listed for the CBC poetry prize, twice chosen for Poetry in Transit, and awarded the Macmillan Poetry Prize. She has four collections to her credit, including Grief Notes & Animal Dreams, The Trees Just Moved into a Season of Other Shapes, Daughters, a finalist for the Pat Lowther Award, and point no point (McClelland & Stewart). She will receive the Bliss Carmen Poetry Award at THIN AIR 2008 for a poem from her new manuscript, Active Pass. Jane Munro lives on the west coast of Vancouver Island.
