Jon Paul Fiorentino

Jon Paul Fiorentino is the author of five books: The Theory of the Loser Class, which won the Expozine Alternative Press Award for Best Book and was shortlisted for the AM Klein Prize; Transcona Fragments, which was shortlisted for the Carol Shields Award; and Asthmatica, which was shortlisted for the Expozine Alternative Press Award for Best Book. His new book, stripmalling (ECW 2009), is an experimental novel that once again mines his suburban Winnipeg roots. Fiorentino grew up in Transcona, and lives now in Montreal where he edits Matrix magazine and teaches writing at Concordia University.
