Jordan Wheeler

Jordan Wheeler, a member of the Gordons First Nation, is a writer of mixed ancestry (Cree, Ojibway, Assiniboine, Irish, English, Scottish and French). He’s written several books, including Just a Walk (Theytus) and Brothers in Arms (Pemmican). He has also written for television dramas, including North of 60 and renegadepress.com. His work has been nominated for several awards, and in 2007 he won a Gemini for Best Writing in a Children’s or Youth Program or Series. Away from the computer (and the golf course), Wheeler teaches scriptwriting and hangs with his adult children in Winnipeg.
