Linda Frank

Linda Frank has published two collections of poetry, Cobalt Moon Embrace and Kahlo: The World Split Open (Buschek Books 2008). She has been recognized with several awards, including Arc’s Poem of the Year choice and two prizes in CV2 poetry contests, as well as an honourable mention in the Sandburg-Livesay Anthology contest. Her poem, “A Long Time Coming,” from a yet-unpublished manuscript Insomnie Blues, appears in the summer 2009 issue of Prairie Fire, and is the winner of this year’s Banff Centre Bliss Carman Award which will be presented on-stage at THIN AIR. Frank lives in Hamilton ON.
