Margaret Macpherson

Margaret Macpherson is a writer and teacher, originally from Canada's Northwest Territories. She hold a MFA in Creative Writer from UBC and has worked as an essayist and journalist in Halifax, Bermuda and Vancouver. She is a published poet and the author of four non-fiction books, including Nellie McClung: Voice of the Voiceless, winner of the Canadian authors Association Exploring Alberta Award. Her fiction titles include a collection of stories, Perilous Departures, and a novel, Released. This fall, Signature Editions releases her third fiction title, a novel called Body Trade. Macpherson lives in Edmonton.
