Nate Crawford

Nate Crawford is a playwright, poet, producer, and arts administrator based in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Following ten years of acting in theatre and film, he co-founded the Forerunner Playwrights’ Co-op. Forerunner has gone on to present his play Table Mountain Cabin and numerous other first productions by East Coast playwrights, including Catherine Banks’ Bone Cage, a subsequent winner of the Governor General’s Award for Drama. Crawford is a longtime board member and outgoing president of the Playwrights Atlantic Resource Centre, and the Executive Director of the Writers’ Federation of Nova Scotia.
