Richard Van Camp

A Dogrib (Tlicho) Dene from Fort Smith NT, Richard Van Camp is an internationally renowned storyteller and best-selling writer of work for both adults and children. Both his novel, The Lesser Blessed, and his short story collection, Angel Wing Splash Pattern, have been critically acclaimed; several of his short stories have been adapted for broadcast on CBC radio. He has published two children’s books with Cree artist George Littlechild, and his new board book, Welcome Song for Baby (Orca) is the official 2008 selection of the Books for BC Babies program. Richard Van Camp lives in Vancouver.
