Shane Peacock

Shane Peacock was born in Thunder Bay, Ontario, and grew up in Kapuskasing. A biographer, journalist, screenwriter, and playwright, he has made his most dramatic impact with readers and critics alike with his wildly popular Boy Sherlock Holmes series. The first, Eye of the Crow, was recognized with the Arthur Ellis Award, and the third, Vanishing Girl, won the Ruth and Sylvia Schwartz Award, the IODE Violet Downey Award, and the Libris Award. With his recent publication of The Secret Fiend (Tundra), Peacock can now boast that all four novels have ranked as Junior Library Guild of America Premier Selections. Peacock lives near Cobourg, Ontario.
