Di Brandt

Di Brandt is an acclaimed poet and critic. Her poetry titles include questions ii asked my mother; Jerusalem, beloved; and Now You Care. She has won the Canadian Authors' Association National Poetry Award, the McNally Robinson Book of the Year, and the Gerald Lampert Award, and been nominated for two Governor General's Awards. A frequent collaborator, her newest work is Walking to Mojácar (Turnstone), a multi-lingual poetry collection with French translations by Charles Leblanc and Spanish translations by Ari Belathar. Brandt grew up in Reinland, MB, lived in Winnipeg, Edmonton, Toronto, Windsor (Ontario) and Berlin, and now holds a Canada Research chair in Literature and Creative Writing at Brandon University.
