Hal Niedzviecki

Hal Niedzviecki is a writer, culture commentator, and editor with a special interest in contemporary culture and communications. He was awarded the Alexander Ross Award for Best New Magazine Writer in 1999, and is a frequent contributor to major journals across North America. He’s the co-creator of Broken Pencil magazine where he continues to be fiction editor. He has several books to his credit, including the hands-on resource book for young adults, The Big Book of Pop Culture (Annick), and a new adult non-fiction book, The Peep Diaries: How We’re Learning to Love Watching Ourselves and Our Neighbors (City Lights). Niedzviecki lives in Toronto.
