Jacqueline Larson

Jacqueline Larson has published poetry in a number of Canadian literary journals, including Prairie Fire, West Coast Line, Descant, and Geist. Her poem, “Salt Physic,” was shortlisted for a National Magazine Award after publication in Prairie Fire. She has also been nominated for the Hart House Review poetry prize. Her debut poetry collection, also titled Salt Physic (Pedlar Press 2008), celebrates rebellion, contradiction, anticipation, and the slow dawning of a woman’s wisdom. Larson was born in Red Deer AB, has lived and taught and written in many parts of Canada, and now makes her home in Toronto.
