John McFetridge

John McFetridge became fascinated with crime when attending a murder trial at age 12 with his police officer brother. Readers and critics have responded enthusiastically to the strong characterization and elegant style of his Toronto Series mystery novels, Dirty Sweet, Everybody Knows This Is Nowhere, Swap, and Tumblin’ Dice. His newest mystery, Black Rock (ECW), is an artfully-told police procedural set in Montreal in 1970, during the FLQ Crisis. In addition to his four mystery novels, [titles] he’s also co-written a short story collection, and written for the CBS/CTV television series The Bridge. Born in Greenfield Park, Quebec, he now lives in Toronto with his family.
