Pasha Malla

Pasha Malla’s writing has appeared in numerous journals, magazines and anthologies. His first book, the story collection The Withdrawal Method, was longlisted for the Giller Prize, shortlisted for The Commonwealth Writers’ Prize (Best First Book) and won both the Danuta Gleed Literary Award and the Trillium Book Award. People Park was shortlisted for the Amazon.ca First Novel Award, and selected as an Amazon.ca Best Book. His latest novel, Fugue States (Knopf Canada), set in Canada and Kashmir, is a story of contemporary masculinity, family and friendships, and clueless tourists. He also the co-editor, with Stacey May Fowles, of Best Canadian Sports Writing (ECW). He lives in Toronto.
